Sun damage combined with the passage of time can result in deep lines and creases in your forehead, the corners of your eyes, around your mouth, and other facial areas. If you long for smooth skin with a rejuvenated skin tone and texture, ablative fractional laser skin resurfacing in Orlando is the ideal solution.

When we perform this procedure, we use laser light to deliver energy deep into the skin, resulting in a smooth and revitalized skin tone. It can be used safely on all skin types and a variety of areas of the body.

At Hillcrest Plastic Surgery, we use this rejuvenating treatment to:

  • Minimize sun damage
  • Smooth out deep lines and wrinkles in your face, neck, chest and hands
  • Correct skin imperfections such as age spots

Your Treatment

Before your laser skin resurfacing treatment, we will discuss what to expect and provide specific instructions to follow after your treatment. We provide this consultation to deliver as closely as possible the beautiful results you are seeking.

Prior to the treatment, in some cases, Dr. Spence may recommend that you take medication for cold sores. In addition, you will need to:

  • Discontinue smoking a minimum of six weeks prior to treatment
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning
  • Discontinue any use of Retin-A
  • Halt any medications that cause sun sensitivity or increase bleeding

Depending on the size of the treatment area, the procedure takes only about 30 minutes. Laser skin resurfacing can be combined with other skin rejuvenation treatments including BOTOX® Cosmetic and IPL treatments.
