Bye, Bye Bra Fat

Are you embarrassed to be seen in a bathing suit or sleeveless shirt because of the bulge of fat from your armpit area?
The “axillary roll,” commonly referred to as “bra fat,” is resistant to diet and exercise and leaves many women at their wit's end. Luckily there’s an easy solution to rid this problem area so you can let yourself be free. Liposuction performed by our plastic surgeon in Orlando, FL will have you looking your best.
Completed in about an hour under local anesthesia, this is a one-time treatment that doesn’t require multiple injection appointments.
What are the requirements for liposuction?
Skin tone, texture, volume, and elasticity will be evaluated to determine if you’re a candidate for armpit liposuction. Other factors like your age and weight loss history are also considered.
What takes place during the liposuction procedure?
Small incisions are made in the area to be treated and the excess fat is removed with a wand-like vacuum. Once complete, a few stitches are placed.
What happens after liposuction?
You will be sent home with a compression garment to wear as the area heals. We may also give you absorbent pads to dress the area with, pain medication, and perhaps an antibiotic. Be sure to follow all directions closely. Physical activity should be avoided for a few days after. Make sure you keep the area clean and dry. Some discomfort, swelling, or bruising is to be expected.
